I recently made a guest appearance on BBC Radio 19 on April 15th 2006.
Appeared on ITV or TWW as it was known then in 1964
My musical roots: I was classically trained in music having studied 4 years with a
RADA associated Tutor. Both sides of my family are musically famous
On my Father`s side: Vaughan-Williams, and Arthur Vaughan the Music Hall Star
On my Mothers side: My Grandmother played piano for the Silent Movies, My
Mother played Piano for American Star Ethel Merman, and Jessie Mathews.. She
worked at Bristol`s Little Theatre and The Hippodrome, as well as in London.
I was the youngest Pub Pianist in Somerset at the age of 7 at the Victoria Inn,
Paulton. My first paid Gig was at the Crown and Sceptre in Frome in 1965
I have been fully professional since 1989
My Vocal Impressions started in 1976 when "Mike and His Music" was formed.
My first gig as "Mike and His Music" was at The Enterprise in Bedminster, Bristol.
"Mike and His Music" continues to this day covering over 250 concerts every year
My association with Perry began in 1998 in "The Millennium Duo"
